Event History

SuperReturn Africa was launched in Cairo in 2010. Research in Europe, the U.S. and the Middle East with LPs indicated a phenomenal growth in interest in private equity on the African continent from those seeking decorrelated returns, and to increase the diversification of their portfolio across emerging markets.

The Nairobi and Casablanca conferences that followed in 2011 and 2012 respectively, were a resounding success. Delegate numbers have grown year on year and in 2012, we were delighted to attract over 350 attendees including the best managers active on the continent, as well as LPs such as sovereign wealth funds, global funds of funds, family offices and African pension funds. We look forward to bringing the conference to Ghana this year!
